Jamie Jones

Jamie began his career under the auspices of acclaimed chef, Raymond Blanc, at Le Petit Blanc, quickly rising to become General Manager. He was heavily involved in the creation of, and roll out of Brasserie Blanc, before moving back home to oversee Room Restaurant in his hometown Manchester. Here he built up an enviable reputation as an extraordinary event co-ordinator and host. From Room, he moved to its sister hotel in Harrogate, to establish a successful 100-bed hotel and pub.

Pete Taylor

Pete’s experience is based in the kitchen. From working in high profile restaurants such as Bridgewater Hall, Paul Heathcoat’s and Clivedon House, he became Head Chef (aged 21) at The Restaurant Bar & Grill Group, in Marlow, turning it into a commercial success.  But home beckoned and after a few years, he returned to Manchester and joined Room as Openings Head Chef, overseeing 7 new restaurant openings across the UK.  It was during their time at Room that Jamie and Pete’s paths crossed. Between them they created a highly successful restaurant: winning 2AA rosettes, Michelin Guide entry and winning Cheshire Life’s coveted ‘Restaurant of the Year’ award.
